Hi,
I failed to find Wyse instruction for encrypting passwords in any guide. Please someone point it more precisely.
freewysemonkeys.com is currently reported a malware source....

Why is there no readily available information or instructions provided by Wyse by relating to usage of password encryption in .ini files and what is supported for specific platforms (ThinOS etc)? This is an information expected to be in the manuals but not as highlighted by the user above. I know FreeWyseMonkeys ConfigGen is said to use DES but again but very little information available to help plan for security in enterprise deployments.

There are instructions for encrypting the passwords in the admin guide for WTOS but there is a free, third party, tool called the Confgen that is easier to use. You can get it from a user site called freewysemonkeys.com.
