Update 1200LE
Update 1200LE
Hi,
I just got my first thin client, a used WINTERM 1200LE (got it via ebay) and trying my first steps.
On http://www.wyse.com/supportdownload/...age1Series.pdf i got information how to put on the new firmware WTOS 5.2.0_69 (march 2009).
The system version on my 1200LE is 4.2.137i (probably from 2003) and there are significant differences between the mask of my system and the advices within the document.
Can anyone help me with a step-by-step-information how to update my WINTERM?
Is there a possibility to connect the WINTERM from my workstation and push the firmware into there instead of initiating a connection from the WINTERN to get it?

Go the www.wyse.com/manuals and search for "1200LE" or "WTOS upgrade" you should be able to get plenty of information.

AFAIK, you must put the new firmware files on an FTP server and let the 1200 pull it down.
