WNOS FTP best practice
Hi,
in a situation where connectivity from WTOS devices is over the internet I will need to keep the FTP local for clear text security reasons. To avoid having to deploy multiple wnos.ini files locally at each site, is it possible to leverage SFTP to deliver the wnos.ini to all of these sites and deploy the file centrally in a data centre site?
If not, what would be the workaround at sites where there is no local FTP connectivity?

You can use HTTP or HTTPS...check out "Solution 10566: Wyse ThinOS - How to Upgrade the Firmware on WTOS Clients" in the Wyse KB.
