WTOS and RDGateway

WTOS and RDGateway

We use Dell/Wyse D10Ds to connect to our existing Server 2008R2 Session Host farm. For that Farm, I don't allow access from the web so I have never had a problem. We are in the process of moving our session host servers to 2012R2 and I have implemented 1 connection broker which also hosts the web access role, 1 rd gateway server, and 1 session host server as a pilot. I have moved about 30 users to the new collection. Because we are allowing access to the session host server from both our internal network and the farm, I have specified the rd gateway server but checked the box to bypass for local connections. This works great for my Windows 7 and 8 boxes. However, the D10Ds don't honor the bypass the gateway checkbox and all my D10Ds are connecting through the gateway server. I need to know how to get the D10Ds to NOT use the RDGateway as they are all on the internal network. It's not a huge problem now, but will become one when I have 10 times the number of users trying to connect. Here is the wnos.ini I am using:

RE: WTOS and RDGateway

HI Roger,

Were you ever able to work around the gateway server issue?

I am having the same issue and need to roll a few hundred users over but cannot until this issue is resolved.

Thanks,

Dan
