Wyse Thin Client 1200le ftp help

Wyse Thin Client 1200le ftp help

I have directed the thin client to download from an ftp client to update it but it will not connect. I enter the username and password but it still will not connect it just pops right back up as soon as I click enter or click ok.

The only update I was able to find was the UTC_b512

I have tried to connect to a windows 2008 server via rdp but it just says connection reset and will not connect.

Can someone send me a link with the directory that I am suppose to put in the ftp directoy. Including all folders and settings. I have tried to figure this out for voer a week. I have teamviewer if that would be easier.

Maranda,
the 1200LE was discontinued back in 2006, so the support for these devices is minimal. You can go to www.wyse.com/manuals and search for "wtos ini reference" and you should find the manual that will provide you with the directory structure required to upgrade your client. You may want to also look at the document on this url: http://bit.ly/WdEpn3

Did the firmware upgrade on your 1200Le's allow then to connect to your Windows 2008 Server?

I've hear of customers able to connect to 2008 servers as long as NLA was turned off at the server, but keep in mind that the 1200LE was discontinued long before Windows 2008 server was released.
