Zooming in PDF document disconnects the RDP session

Zooming in PDF document disconnects the RDP session

When using _206 to connect to W2K12R2 and opening http://www.wyse.com/sites/default/fi...nOS-170713.pdf the RDP session disconnects/crashes when zooming in and out multiple times. It brings you back to the ThinOS desktop but when you click on the RDP connection again to reconnect it opens a new RDP session using the same user ID. So there are two issues here:
1. session crashes when zooming in and out a couple of times
2. reconnecting to a crashed/disconnected session does not work

Reconnecting to a manually disconnection session does work (reconnect=yes is in the INI).

I suppose this is ZD10 (D10D or Z10D) according to logs above "10:04:44 Checking Software ftp:/wnos/ZD10_wnos ..."

I tried on 8.0_206 Z10D and cannot see this happening. I downloaded the PDF and used "Ctrl" + mouse scroll to zoom in/out a number of times. There is nothing abnormal in my RDP W2K12.

Is this W2K12 the same one built on your Win8.1 laptop? Please kindly try it with a VM on W2K12 or W2K8R2 instead of personal laptop...

WES7 means WTOS 7 right? That one does not have RDP8 i.e. there was no GFX feature; maybe it is worthwhile to try it with a Windows RDP8 client e.g. the RDP on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 Laptop...

In the meantime if it is not too much trouble could you try INI "SessionConfig=RDP EnableGFX=no" with your D10D which I think might makes the issue go away...

Joris has helped to force a Coredump and DEV has had a look; it should be things related to GFX but without being able to reproduce the problem here there is no further progress yet...

We are still trying to reproduce the problem this end for next step of investigation.

sounds the server side issue, could you try it on windows client or D90?

Latest update: DEV has confirmed a fix of this issue will be in next build

issue remains with _208 drop

I am using the D10D. I tried with W2K12R2 running on a server with HyperV 2008R2. It still crashes the session when you use the scoll wheel (I didn't need Ctrl) to zoom in and out multiple times. I upgraded all my VM's to W2K12R2 so cannot test W2K12.

Disabling gateway does not make a difference.

I sent a trace and coredump to Leon last week.
