Patching in version 7.2

Patching in version 7.2

After patching the os image, the older version of the image remains in the streaming directory and -- in our case -- simply wastes disc space. Is it possible to remove older versions of the image?

RE: Patching in version 7.2

The patch Directory contains the write Cache file from the Reference Device, which is used as a Delta Patch file if the OS Image is distributed to other WSM Servers/Sites.
In a single Server set up with direct patch mode enabled, you could delete the patch directory to free up disk space because the patch is merged into the base Image.
With distribution enabled, you should not delete older images from disk because you loose the ability to roll back to a previous Version from the WSM Admin Console.
