Upgrading to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC

Is there an official solution to upgrading a Wyse 5020, 7020, 5060 or 5070 client that was purchased with either Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2015 (10.0.10240) or Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSB 2016 (10.0.14393) to the latest Windows 10 IoT Enterprsie LTSC 2019?

Update on this topic:

Dell will be releasing a new image for the Wyse 5070 client that is based on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC (RS5 / 1809) near the end of October 2019. Because Microsoft licensing permits users with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2016 LTSB to update to 2019 LTSC at no additional cost, I will test if it possible to update existing 5070 clients (WIE) with the latest image. Hopefully, the product activation accepts the original license without modifying it (to prevent downgrade to 2016 LTSB).

I'm very interested in knowing if Dell thin clients will allow you to upgrade 2016 to 2019.

I'm currently using HP T630's, and apparently it does NOT work. I am beyond mad about this.

Is that possible at no additional cost? I was told ther is a kms license server necessary and otherwise no upgrade possible. Is that correct?

Forgot to add the testing results.

The short answer is no, you cannot upgrade from Win IoT 2016 to 2019 because it requires a new license key. From Microsoft: updating the license is possible; however (unlike the FREE 2015 to 2016 upgrade), there is a "small fee" to upgrade to 2019 LTSC. This does make sense as Windows support would include an additional couple of years.

I have been communicating with Dell's CCC team and there may be an option available for ProSupport customers in the future if demand is large; however, there is no option at this time. From the technical side, there would need to an utility to update the product key without sending the unit back to Dell (the process for updating product keys on embedded devices is more complicated then just entering a new key in the Settings menu).
