Setting up Ericom Emulator (everything was ok in Wyse gen1 and also on Gen2's)
We had emulation setup and running well with both the Wyse Gen1 and Wyse Gen2's but then we bought the Gen 3's (over 100 of them) and tried to setup the same but the options are different as well as some of the emulators. Is there a known good setup for connecting to HP UX with the new Ericom Emulator? I did try contacting Ericom first but they sent me back to Wyse.

Hi,
Basically, the connection configuration (hostname IP, emulation type, etc.) should be identical in both PowerTerm's versions. Usually, HP700 emulation ("Terminal Type") should be used for HP-UX.
Normally, it is recommended to avoid using PowerTerm older setup\configuration files in case that:
1) the older setup file has been created by a very old PowerTerm version.
2) the older setup file has been created by PowerTerm on a different OS.
What was the exact problem that you have encountered when running the newer PowerTerm version?
What are PowerTerrm versions (old and new) that you are using?
