Sharepoint prompting for authentication when trying to open a document

Hey guys, I have an issue after authenticating into our Sharepoint site, whenever I attempt to open a document such as Word or Excel, I am prompted again for autentication to another server where the files live.

I looked this up and tried everything I could find, ading both the internal sharepoint site, along with the rest of the file servers to trusted/intranet, automatically authenticate using current username and password, also modifying the registry to add the servers to the webserver piece and restart the Web Service. I still have this issue and I am not sure if this has something to do with the emebedded OS, but I do not have this issue on normal Windows 7. Any help would be appreciated, thank you for your time.
