Need help w posting. Dimension 8300 desktop/new PSU/fixing

Hi to all:

I am new to the community. First post. Not sure where to put this. I have a desktop PC dell dimension 8300 with flashing amber power light issue. Need a new PSU, I think. Need to get to the right person for all the details. Would like compatibility advice on 2 replacements I found on I-net. Dell phone support could not help much. It's out of warranty. Would like to try to fix it myself. Please direct me where to post correctly or reach the right place or person... Thanks to all for help and advice.

Recommended Known working Replacement is EVGA 750B1 (110-B1-0750-VR)

not B2 B3 BT BQ or G2.
