Question before I buy an XPS 8930

I have an XPS 8300 with an EVGA GTX 960 OC 2GB and I'm looking to buy a new machine. I like the 8930 and would just get the integrated graphics in order to put this card in. Will it work ok? Any issues on these 8930's with aftermarket cards? Just making sure before I spend $500. Thanks!

Yes - I had an issue with an aftermarket video card.  I had a Gigabyte GTX 1070 card in my XPS 8910 which I was giving to one of my children.  The XPS 8930 would not boot with that card and technical support could not resolve the issue.  I bought an EVGA GTX 1070i and it worked great.  I ended up giving the Gigabyte card in the XPS 8910 to my child.  I had an old OEM GTX 960 and installed it as part of the testing - it worked well.

The lowest end card I've seen installed in the XPS 8930 is an OEM 1050ti.  It is a better card that the 960 and I would recommend using it versus installing the 960 in your new PC.
