XPS 430, PSU upgrade advice

Hi

I currently have a Dell XPS 430 (Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33ghz), 8GB Ram running on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and 375w PSU and AMD Radeon R7 260x graphics card. Can anyone suggest a compatible PSU for me to upgrade to. have been looking at 600w+ but unsure of wattage i should be going for and make etc.

Any help would be much appreciated!

This SPECIFIC MODEL works fine.  750B1

https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-SuperNOVA-Modular-Warranty-110-B1-0750-VR/dp/B00K85X23O

B3 BT BQ B2 G2 versions of the same thing DO NOT WORK.

The physical Dimensions as well as the 25A on 3.3v and 5v rails and 150W combined power on those rails is required.

Dell Units whether 305W or 375W or 460W etc have that on those rails.  This is why the B2 model etc DOES NOT WORK because the power on those rails is 120W or less and 20Amps or less on the rails.

A standard ATX power supply will work.  You may have to cut metal to allow for a power switch that is in on most commercial ATX power supplies but not on Dell's.  My suggestion would be to purchase a "fully modular" type power supply.  That will eliminate stuffing all the unused power leads inside.

Size?  probably a 600/650 will do.  Along with the suggested fully modular, avoid the low price power supplies as they tend to be overrated in watts and have poor regulation.  A cheap power supply can fail and take out hardware such as the motherboard.

I had a Dimension E510, which was the same type BTX case and power supply location.  A standard ATX fit in it without problems.

You have to hook the 4 pin EPS12V (Number 24) connection as Well as the 24 PIN power (Number 5) connection to the motherboard.

The 24 Pin Connector is near the CoinCell The 4 pin EPS12V connection is off to the side of the ram slots on the other side of the motherboard.
