XPS 8500, upgrade GTX 1050 Ti OC?

Hello,

I would like to upgrade my graphics card but I dont know if it will work.

I was thinking of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4G.

Does anybody know if this graphics card will work in my XPS 8500 computer?

What wattage power supply is recommended for that card and what wattage power supply do you have?

Have you searched these forums? There are threads about the XPS 8500 with GTX 1050 Ti (but not OC).

It needs at least a 300w power supply and I think there is a power supply in there between 400 and 500w. So does that mean its gonna work or not? Can the motherboard handle it for instance?

Did you look at any of the other threads that mention using a GTX 1050 Ti in an XPS 8500, like the post by Dell-Chris M in this one?
