XPS 8930, creating an image of optane drives?

Does anyone have a reliable method to create a restorable disk image for an optane accelerated XPS8930? I've tried several methods including Windows own system backup image, Acronis, Paragon, and Macrium Reflect. The main problem is not the creation of an image but the restoration process. For example, Acronis creates a usable image, but when this is tested using the Acronis bootable rescue media (including the MVP version), the process of choosing a destination disk does not list the original disk to restore it to. Have I missed something when creating the image? For example, should I disable the optane memory first, or should there be additional adjustments in the BIOS setup? Any help on this would be appreciated as I've found nothing elsewhere so far.

Macrium Reflect works fine, but I don't play with Optane .

I've even seen the Macrium Reflect Bootable Recovery USB detect and restore to an Intel RAID-0 .
