XPS 8930, how to change PSU 110V to 220V (US to UK relocation)
We are in the process of moving and want to make sure our main PC can continue operating safely. I heard external power converters aren't reliable, so best bet seems to be changing the internal power supply. Is there a link to a service manual with instructions, as well as part numbers for UK PSU? Thanks!

According to the XPS 8930 Setup and Specifications here: https://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/xps-8930-desktop_setup-guide_en-us.pdf the input voltage is 100 VAC to 240 VAC so I believe the only thing needed is a power plug adapter so you can plug the power cable into an UK outlet. I have not had any problems plugging other electronic devices with similar specifications in other European countries.

I can't say that I've used a XPS 8930 in the USA however, based on the Information that @Vic384 supplied, it would appear that I'm using the same Power Supply Unit as yourself & I'm in the UK!

Make sure the same is true for your monitor and any other PC peripherals you plan to move too, if any...

The dell only needs UK BS1363 to C13 Power Cord
PC's no longer have voltage switches.
You will also need the cable for monitor etc.
