7390 / KUbuntu 18.04: can no longer dim the display
For several weeks now I have been unable to dim my display via the Fn+Up/Down keys.
Does not work via settings either:
This used to work fine; my laptop is recent (November 2019)
I think it works only when rebooting.

Question from Dell: Hi, thank you for sharing the details. Please note we have limited support on Ubuntu operating system. We see this system was shipped with Ubuntu Linux 18.04, were the settings working fine and did the issue happen after updating to KUbuntu? ^AYP
So I hope someone else from this community can help me...

Confirmed...
With Gnome this is not an issue, with KUbuntu it is.
Poor Linux, what have you become... how is this chaos possible?
