9370 -- Strange Interplay Between Bluetooth and Display Color Profile

I've got an XPS 9370. I used a Spyder 5 Pro colorimeter to calibrate the color of the 4K display because the default color profile is inaccurate and much too cool. After setting the calibrated color profile to the default, whenever I toggle Bluetooth on or off the display flashes several times between what may be the original Dell profile and the new profile. It eventually settles into the calibrated profile. This happens every time. I'm running the latest Bluetooth driver and the current version of Win 10.

I've used the colorimeter on other Windows machines and on Macs, and I've never seen this behavior. As soon as I revert the color profile to the profile originally shipped with the 9370, the flashing stops.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?
