I have a Dell XPS15 9500 and am purchasing a MacBook Pro 16 with a 140W charger.  I am wondering if the Apple 140W charger will charge the Dell at 130W or do I have to use the Dell 130W charger?

From what I have heard the Dell uses special tech to go beyond PD’s 100W limit but Apple uses the newer USB-C standard that goes beyond 100W.

What you've heard is correct -- you need the OEM charger to supply more than 100W.

Did you had the chance to test if the Dell XPS15 charges with the Apple 140W by yourself?
