It would be better to keep a single thread rather than setting up multiple posts.
Set the system for RAID OFF (AHCI). If the drive is not detected by the system setup, you have a hardware or firmware problem. If you have another system you can use, check to make sure the drive firmware is up to date (and that your system firmware is also up to date).
I agree. I don't have any HW problems, just baffled how the laptop detects the SSD but their SW doesn't. I have several minute issues on this XPS that I had posted. Sorry for the confusion.
