Bluetooth mouse lag issues with new XPS 13 7390 2-in-1?

Is anyone else having Bluetooth mouse lag issues with new XPS 13 7390 2 in 1? This is a brand new set i am using my BT mouse. I'm experiencing an issue where the mouse pointer takes a second to move after I start moving the BT mouse. It will continue to move smoothly as long as I don't stop; but if I stop, the cursor will exhibit the same initial movement lag. The track-pad works normally. The same BT mouse works normally on my other XPS 13 7390 2 in 1.

I've read some suggestions about modifying the Bluetooth Collaboration setting under the NIC but the new Killer NIC's don't appear to have that setting in Device Manager.

The old XPS 13 7390 2in1 inside device manager -> Intel Wireless Bluetooth -> Power management ->  there is option to untick "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

The brand new XPS 13 7390 2in1 do not have the same power management tab to untick "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

i checked both are on the same firmware and software version

Junda15,

Have you gone into the bluetooth settings in Windows and then click more bluetooth options. Verify that the allow bluetooth  devices to find this pc is checked.

Junda15,

You can check it to see if that will help the lagging. You can also go in the device manager under Bluetooth devices and then the “Intel Wireless Bluetooth” device.

Then go to properties, find the Power Management tab and disable it.

It is currently unchecked for allow bluetooth devices to find this pc. Never touched this. by default is unchecked. Should i check it and it will appear the options of power management ?

I have the same issue with my XPS 13 7390 and it is ridiculous that this isnt fixed. I am typing here on a 1500$ machine and the mouse/trackpad is disabled every minute for 10seconds. The workarounds in the intel settings and the bluetooth power management settings are not working either, so please fix this once and for all with a BIOS or driver update!

Dell needs to fix this ASAP since the workaround no longer works in the latest Windows version (2004).

Same, no power management on Release 2004. Everything I have tried will not fix it.  Seems like based on this other post, only option is to downgrade bios way down versions but then we do not get the security fixes etc.  Dell please fix this.

Thank GOD it seems I'm not the only one having the problem with the XPS 13 7390 2-in-1. It seems to be caused by a messy bios update and I can't find bluetooth powersavng option in my bluetooth settings either.

Try this, it worked for me.

Goto to 'Settings' - 'Devices'.

Select 'Devices and Printers' on the right hand side under 'Related Settings'.

'Right click' your Bluetooth Mouse and select 'Properties'.

Select 'Hardware' Tab.

'Double click' the hardware device called 'Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID device'.

Then select 'Change Settings' button and in the next dialog box you should see a 'Power Management' tab.

Untick 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'.

This resolved the issue for me on Windows 10 2004.
