Can I buy a replacement battery?

I think I have a dead battery. As soon as I unplug the laptop dies within about 15 minutes. I'm not sure how to run diagnostics (I'm a bit of a luddite) but I'm wondering can I buy a new battery. My XPS is about 6 years old.
