Confused about the Free Fall Data Protection Driver for XPS 15 7590
When I search for drivers using my XPS 15 7590's service tag, there are 2 drivers from the Free Fall Data Protection Driver:
1) Dell Free Fall Data Protection 1.0.11.0 ,A04 (30,Jan,2020)
2) STMicroelectronics Free Fall Data Protection Driver 4.10.93 ,A07 (07,Jan,2020)
In device manager, under System devices, there is: STMicroelectronics 3-Axis Digital Accelerometer
I am confused about the first driver in that case, the Dell Free Fall Data Protection, Is that like the application part of the Free Fall Data sensor or what?

Welcome to the Dell Community @Super Spartan
From what I can see one is a link to the application.
Dell-Free-Fall-Data-Protection_5W0W0
Description: This package guides you to the Microsoft Store to download Dell Free Fall Data Protection application.
And the other is the driver.
STMicro-Accelerometer-for-Free-Fall-Data-Protection_3MJM5
Description: This package contains the STMicroelectronics Accelerometer driver for the Free Fall Data Protection.
Best regards,
U2
EDIT:
If you now have an SSD installed you do not need the app or driver.

If I don't want the Dell Free Fall Data Protection to install at all, what can I do to stop that, we are using SCCM task sequence to deploy OS, drivers, and apps and noticed on the Latitude 5410 but it doesn't complete the installation because we blocked the MS Store.
Thanks,
