DEll XPS L502X upgrade from windows 7 to 10

I have an xpsl502x i initially upgraded to windows 10 from 7 but had to revert to 7 as device manager showed the  the ST Microelectronics DE351DL Free Fall Motion Sensor Driver  ACPI\SMO8800\1   as an unknown device and dell told me that my computer was not supported for windows 10 and additional problems could develop at a later stage Windows 7 is coming to an end  and i wish to upgrade to windows 10 is there a workable solution do i need the free fall motion sensor. will my laptop work with 10 in the long run.
