Dell 2 in 1 touch screen intel core i7 not picking up mic

I’ve been using this laptop since 2018 and since late 2019 it has stopped picking up any mic I use mainly my Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Wired Stereo Gaming Headset for Pc. I get audio playback but it doesn’t pick up the mic no matter what. It’s a pain to do discord calls and such since it mainly picks up the laptops fan and such. If someone can help it’d be much appreciated.
