Dell Mobile Connect problem

So, I've had trouble with the DMC app for my computer (XPS 15 7590) for a while now.

 I keep getting this error message where I have to check the settings with my phone and check what could possibly be wrong with my computer, but I have no idea what's wrong with either. I often get various error messages when I try to make a call, when I try to view the photos of my phone with my computer, when I try to just do anything with this app.

When I'm sometimes able to place calls, the sound is always distorted, but I can't seem to do anything to fix these issues. I've already changed the motherboard of my PC, changed the Bluetooth card along with its speakers, and I have the most up to date versions of both the app on my iPhone and on the computer. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? Tech support hasn't been able to fix it, despite tons of troubleshooting and the parts and labor services from the on-site technicians that my computer has been through.
