It's been almost a year that I bought my dell xps 13 2017 model (i7, 16GB RAM model with a touchscreen display). Everything was working fine until suddenly a few days ago a strange moderately high pitched sound started coming from underneath the keyboard. This issue began only a few days ago there was no such problems before. What can be done to fix this ?

It sounds like coil whine. If the system is still under warranty call Dell tech support for your region and they can help.
