Dell XPS 13 9360, display not detected when connected to LG 34"

Hi

I've just bought an ultrawide LG 34WK650 and tried to connect my dell xps 13 9360 laptop to it. I have checked all the drivers and softwares to make sure that they are all updated. I'm using USB c to display port cable that supports 4K to connect

Sadly, the only thing that works is the audio. It says that the display is not detected. Does anyone know how to fix this? If it is a cable issue, will getting dell DA3000 adaptor help?
