Dell XPS 13 9370 - Dual boot Windows 10 & Linux

I'm trying to dual boot on my XPS 13 with Windows 10 and Kali Linux. I've currently got Kali Linux installed on my SSD and I've left 256GB of unallocated space remaining. When trying to install windows 10 via USB I see the windows logo loading then just a blank purplish screen with a cursor. I've tried both UEFI and legacy boot bios and the results are the same. Any ideas?

I've installed dual boot on my 9370 (several times already ;) ) by installing Win10 first, shrinking the largest windows partition and then installing Debian in the remaining space. Kali is derived from Debian so it should work for Kali too.

NB: Windows won't shrink a partition past the half way point but I've shrunk Windows more by using `gparted` from Debian Live booted from a USB.

Hi, That’s what I’m trying to do, I’ve currently got Kali installed as my OS st the moment. I want to put windows back on it however I’m unable to get to the installer. T does the windows loading screen then just goes to a blank purple/blue screen with a cursor when booting from my windows bootable USB. Tried redownloading the iso. Using windows media creation tool etc, same issue. Any settings in bios which need to be correct?

Hmmm so I tried a different thunderbolt/USB-C port, I was originally using the one on the right of the XPS 13 9370 and it was giving me the blank purple screen. Put it into the left USBC port and it worked straight away. Is their a difference between all the USB-C ports?
