Hi,

I am about to purchase the Dell XPS 13 9370 laptop. Would like to confirm whether the fan issues are still happening on new orders or if that has been fixed by Dell.

Additionally, if I have the default warranty (no add-ons), what is the procedure of getting Dell to fix it in case of an issue? It seems that I will have to ship it, but would like to clarify the same as it does not make sense for me to pay for additional shipping in case the issue is a known one by Dell.

I've had my XPS 13 9370 i7 16GB since April and I've never encountered the fan issue - it could be luck, or maybe because I'm in a cold climate, but I've really never noticed it. About the default warranty.... I managed to haggle them to add on the premium warranty for free because I told them I was concerned about all the reports of technical issues. Worth a shot =D
