Dell XPS 9365 bios download links gone

Hi,

Just received my refurbished 9365 and wanted to update the bios to 1.5.0. None of the links I tried work for me:

The official Dell update tool marks the update as critical but also fails to download the bios.

Does anyone know where I can download the bios or why it has been removed?

I don't see a Bios offered on the Downloads page.

There has been some unusual activity in this area, possibly related to the new Win 10 build.  For instance, the Inspiron 15 7567 Bios version was rolled back from 1.8.1 to 1.6.  It stayed that way for about a week and now back to what appears to be a newly released version of 1.8.1.

BiOS 2.1.2 was the last offered by Dell prior to the BiOS updates becoming MIA. I installed 2.1.2 and have not had any problems.

For my 9365 bios bricked touchscreen. Updating to 1.5.0 and 2.1.2 help nothing. Pathetic

Bios version 2.2.0 is available, along with new drivers.

... and I'm unable to install it!  I run the download, it says it'll update as planned, reboots, and then I all see is a black screen.  Eventually the Dell logo appears but after all is said and done, I'm still on the old BIOS.

I've tried running it from within the BIOS itself (you can get the option to upgrade by hitting F12 during a boot), and it still fails in the same way, so it doesn't seem like Windows has anything to do with it.

I've turned off virtualization and various Intel performance modes but nothing has helped.  Does anyone have any advice?

I have never tried it myself but has anyone tried reinstalling the Bios version currently installed?

Right now I am in such a situation with my 7567 and probably need to reinstall the same version number which was recalled after I installed it and then re-released with the same previous version number.

Do you had a solution?

Same problem, Bios 1.3.1, try to install bios 2.3.1 and after doing it continues in 1.3.1

I haven't tried it yet, possibly entering your Service Tag would help.  I notice the new 9365s have an 8th generation processor, so I am wondering if a general Bios update is compatible with both versions of the system.
