Fan starting to make ticking noises

Starting today, my 9570's fan started making ticking noises. The fan is on non-top and I only have chrome on. I've owned the laptop for about 2 weeks now so i'm guessing the fan has broken in and is maybe defective?

I've attached a recording of the fan on low. It gets progressively worse as the fan ramps up.

This can't be normal right? For the past 2 weeks when I've run renders, the high fan would be be relatively "smooth"
