Ground/Earthing 3 prong UK plug

Hi, I was wondering if ground/earthing is required on the Dell XPS 13 9380 laptop. The original charger comes with functional earthing, utilising all three prongs on a UK plug. I wanted to use an aftermarket belkin usb type c 45w charger, but that only makes use of two prongs without the grounding/earthing. Both charges are class 2 devices, but the Dell one has functional earthing too. Could anyone advise?

There are manufacturers of other laptops that have no ground pin on their plug without consequences, however I would suggest an original Dell adapter for 2 reasons. First the ground is a safety in case a short of any type occurs in the adapter or the laptop.  Second any adapter other than a Dell adapter may not be recognized by the computer and would result in no charging.

Where would I find an original Dell adapter. The accessories on the UK don't have XPS 9380 compatability

@garpunkal this hybrid usb-c charger will charge the notebook and a separate usb device at the same time - https://www.dell.com/en-uk/work/shop/hybrid-adapter-power-bank-usb-c-ph45w17-ca-45w-ac-adapter-notebook-power-bank-43wh/apd/450-aghp/pc-accessories?ref=p13n_ena_pdp_mv&c=uk&cs=ukbsdt1&l=en&s=bsd#polaris-pd
