After having my laptop for almost a year the touchpad just stopped working today.
I have followed all official support tools and faqs from dell on this issue and looked for solutions in these forums, nothing helped.
I have done the normal steps of checking for windows updates and making sure I got all the latest drivers from dell.
The touchpad is enabled in windows setting.
In the Device Manager I see "HID-compliant touch pad" under Human Interface Devices (I assume this is fine since dell does not provide drivers for the touchpad for this model). I have tried updating, removing, re-installing and nothing seem to solve it.
