Hello Dusty. This is the hardware test for the speakers:

> Re-start the computer and tap the F12 key as soon as it starts to boot up. If the computer boots to Windows re-start the computer and try again.

> Select 'Diagnostics' from the boot menu, then press the Enter key. The ePSA diagnostic should come up.

> Look for a "Perform Quick Audio Check" button on the bottom right side of the ePSA main menu screen. Click the button and listen for the octave tones from the speakers.

> If you don't hear the tones that means that the speakers have become disconnected or have failed. This is a hardware test so failure is definitely not a software or configuration issue.

> If you do hear the tones that means that the speakers are working and are connected. There is probably a software or configuration issue preventing them from working in Windows. Connect analog headphones. earbuds, or external speakers to the audio port (jack) and see if audio is coming through.

Have you tried a wired headset?  Are you seeing the Waves popup when you plug in the headset?
