Hi Jesse I don't have the time to sit through basic troubleshooting steps on the phone. I'm quite well versed with technology and in general unless there is a specific person that want's to discuss this issue so they can fix it on their end I'm not inclined to call a generic number for troubleshooting.
I want to bring to immediate attention that the current (either BIOS or bluetooth) drivers are *incompatible* with the latest windows preview and slow ring editions. I tested this out again yesterday. After installing, the option to disable "powering off bluetooth device to save power" is no longer available. I suggest if you are able, to raise this to a high priority or we will see even more of these threads. As you can already notice, we have been seeing a thread every other day on the same problem as in this issue.
Thank you for the information. I will work on getting some information and letting the engineers know about the bios.
Thanks very much. Again, I'm not sure if it's the BIOS or the Bluetooth driver, but there's an incompatibility somewhere along the chain with them and the upcoming Windows version.
Any status on when we can get this fixed on the slow insider build? I tested it again, and it doesn't work since the power tab option is not there. Please note that this version is rolling out at the end of the month so it's crucial we have a fix before this.
I had the same problem with my WM524 mouse and did all those things that were suggested to no avail. The mouse would just go 'to sleep' when not used for 15 seconds and then take 3-4 seconds to wake up after being moved. Finally removed device and tried reinstalling. Now even though the mouse shows up on the list to connect it will not connect. I must have done something to make it worse. The whole problem started in the past 2 weeks.
Bios update? or who knows. Very frustrating.

I have exactly the same issue with the current insider preview, do you have a solution for the rest of us?
Needs to be fixed asap for Windows Insider users, it's been over a month now and we can't fix it because the Power Management tab is gone in the new version of Windows. My Bluetooth mouse is useless now for almost a month.
Thank you! I was struggling with the exact same issue and is now resolved after making this change.
