- 16GB RAM,

- SSD 512 or 1024 or 2048,

the 10510u is 4 cores. The base clock speed higher thought, but still 4 cores. If you run containers or VMs - quite general nowadays if you develop -, then you need cores and RAMs.

i7 10710u - 16GB RAM - 512GB SSD - 1080p display - US ANSI layout

Looking for this exact config in Germany as well, there are some 10710u SKUs floating around on 3rd party retailer websites, but I'd like to order from Dell with US keyboard and 16GB of RAM.

Any news on when this option is going to be available? I see 10710u-8G-512G one is on NL website already, but the 16G RAM options is not available.

Let me give you my hard earned money, Dell, this machine on Ubuntu is any developer's dream setup. You're one of the few retailers who ship US layouts to Europe too, don't give up on us now

I too am after this exact specification for the same reasons as other people, i.e. software development. It MUST exist in Europe somewhere as PC Mag in the UK was sent an XPS 13 7390 i7-10710u with 16GB RAM to review. The article was published on November 20th 2019.

So I don't understand why, almost a month after this article, there is still only the 8GB version available on the UK Dell website.

Still waiting for this configuration to be made available in the UK.

Why is it that the US always has better options than we do here in the UK?

Same, it makes so little sense that this insane 6 core CPU is paired with only 8 gigs of RAM in Europe. Give us more options, Dell!

Also interested in why it only is available with 8GB, just doesnt make sense that someone looking of an i7-107 would go for just 8GB RAM? Is there is something I am missing?

It seems that we will be receiving the 9300 model for 2020 before we get the 7390 model with the specs we want.

The 9300 looks very slick and the specs also.

i7-1065 G7 processor (4MB cache, up to 3.9GHz)
LPDDR4x Dual Channel SDRAM at 3733MHz  memory
Intel Iris® Plus Graphics

Looks cool, but I'm hot sure how I feel like about connectivity options. Just two typec ports is brutal, especially since one is going to be used for charging. It also looks like they've slimmed down the chassis yet again, so I wonder how much performance we might get from that Ice Lake chip with such a thermally constrained environment.

But 16:10 screen might be the killer feature, looking forward to the reviews.

The new XP’s is nice, though we still have no answer... :s. I still would prefer 6 cores comet lake than 4 with ice lake. We cannot upgrade the ram so it would be good option with 16 or 32 GB.
