I'd like to make a clean installation of Ubuntu 22.04 on my XPS 13 9300. Do I need any special Dell repositories / packages to make everything work? Like fingerprint and deep sleep?
I did the upgrade from 20.04 to 22.04
Everything works fine but not the integrated Webcam. Deep sleep works. Sound, all keys.
But webcam when you try to use it, it directly switches to Infrared light + seems to get stuck into "face identification" instead of giving access to video stream.
So everything works but not the webcam. If you do need the webcam, you cannot upgrade to 22.04
No idea if Dell is going to do anything about it. I dont use the webcam so I did not report this as a bug, I don't care.
