XPS 13 9310 extremely overheating in sleep mode when charger is connected
first of all. how bad is Dell's support service? It is so frustrating.
so, I bought the dell xps 13 for us$2900 and then I find out that in order to be able to use it properly without it overheating as f...k I need to be some kind of computer wizard and have all this knowledge about systems and BIOS and many more concepts that I never needed to know about with my previous much cheaper laptops. I am writing this after already trying over and over again to fix it following endless tutorials and forum responses and even the times the problem was fixed it returned after a few weeks with no clue how.
I'm Not looking for explanations on how to fix it. I just want to know if anyone here has successfully gotten his money back due to this problem and if so what steps did you take?
(if you have the same problem and you are as frustrated as me, comment on this and maybe if enough people complain together they will take us more seriously)

See this battery FAQ for important info. FAQ - Laptop battery articles - Dell Community
You should be shutting down instead of using Sleep. Try using the Shutdown command in this article--

Any PC is likely to overheat if left running (even in sleep mode) in an enclosed space. As others have suggested, hibernate is the better approach. I keep mine set so the power button short press hibernates, and I got into the habit of using this before stowing the bag. It only adds a few seconds to the time for it to be ready to use.
