Hello, i have replaced old swollen battery in my xps 13 9343 with new one from ebay.
Everything is working generally fine, except that I am getting occasional 4 amber/1 white flashes. It happenes when battery is fully charged, and after flashes charging light stays on (white) for a while (few minutes). OS reports at that time that battery is not charging, but this is inconsistent with the light status.
I saw other people posting about it but I have not seen any solutions. I will appreciate comments.
Many thanks,
Rob
This forum post might help. Just wondering though, is the battery you purchased a genuine Dell battery? If not that could be the problem.
Thank you JOcean. I have non-Dell battery from ebay. Somehow it is recognized as Dell battery.
I saw the other thread as well
Apart from very rare amber/white falshes, the battery charges ok, fully and in reasonable time, and all works fine, with decent time on battery (~5 hours). The battery report shows actually that battery design capacity is 56Wh, and actual full charge is at 58.3W.

I saw your comment that amber flashes indicate "bad battery". I wonder in what sense. Would you any more information on that?
