XPS 13 9380 Not Charging, Brand New (2 weeks)

Hello,

I purchased a brand new XPS 13 9380 2 weeks ago and I am having issues with the laptop not charging. I have only used the USB Type-C (Dell 45W AC Adapter) charger. After connecting the charger, it will either charge for a couple minutes and then stop charging, or it does not charge at all.

For example, connecting the charger and leaving it charging overnight will not charge the laptop at all. If it was at 12% prior to the charger being connected, it will remain at 12% (or less) when turned on in the morning.

Unplugging the charger and reconnecting it will prompt the message:

"PC isn't charging - Use the recommended charger and cable, and make sure it's directly plugged in."

- I have tested multiple outlets to confirm it is not an outlet issue.

- This issue happens regardless of which port the AC power adapter is connecting to.

- The light on the adapter stays on the entire time.

- BIOS settings show battery is discharging, in excellent health, but AC Adapter = Not Installed. This status does not change when the AC adapter is unplugged and plugged back in.

This laptop has only been used for watching videos so far: Netflix, Youtube, etc
