XPS 13 9380, chipset driver won't install, #2

Experiencing the same issue with my own XPS 9380. Update is recommended by Dell Update and SupportAssist, but triggers a BSOD, even when the update is downloaded as a standalone installer from Dell’s website.

* Plug the AC power adapter into the XPS 13-9380. Disconnect all other peripheral devices from the XPS 13-9380
* What is the current version of chipset driver installed?
* After the stand alone file (10.1.17903.8106 A07) is downloaded/saved to the Windows desktop, restart the XPS 13-9380
* Once into Windows, right click the file and run as Administrator. What happens?
