XPS 13 not working

I am not very computer literate and am wondering what could be going on with my laptop. My laptop is about one year old and has not given me many problems until now. Essentially, nothing works. Sometimes it takes insanely long to launch an app (like minutes), sometimes I click on an app and absolutely nothing happens. This all happened very suddenly today. I cannot even navigate menus to try and find a diagnosis. As I’ve said, this all occurred very suddenly and I have not had any problems until now.  It seems that the issues persist whether or not I am connected to WiFi.
