XPS 15 7590, Brightness control does not work
Hello, I've just bought a new xps 15 7590 (4k led touch display)and out of the box I can not adjust the brightness level of my screen. When I press Fn + F11/12 it shows the box with the level changing, but the screen itself does not change at all. I tried updating all the drivers, but it did not work. Does anyone knows how to fix this? Should I try running the recovery?

I was able to fix the problem by upgrading Windows 10 from build 1803 to build 1903. I saw elsewhere that people started experiencing this problem when upgrading to the 1803 build on different laptops. The 1809 build might solve the problem as well but I decided to go with the latest version of Windows 10. Hope this helps someone.

What is the BIOS version & Windows 10 build on your system?

I have the exact same issue, just got the laptop today and I cannot adjust the brightness at all. I have updated all drivers and tried a ton of different adjustments to no avail. Is there a fix? I have the 4K OLED Screen as well
