XPS 15 9500 Recovery Image not downloading by Dell OS Recovery

Dear support,

When I boot from a newly created Dell OS recovery USB, I start the recovery process.

But it keeps hanging at "Checking USB Disk".

I tried a couple of different USB drives.

Are the Dell Cloud services not available in the Netherlands?

If I have understood correctly, you’re facing an issue with the system. We will look into this for you right away. 

Lets try the same process from the Microsoft's website.

The primary step before initiating Windows Reinstallation is to back up data. Here is a link on how you can back up data
 https://dell.to/3mLVm7V;. If you are unsure, you can also contact local technician to get the data backed up.

Next, we will have to create the media creation tool on a 16GB or 8GB empty flash drive. Please check this link to download the tool on to your USB: https://dell.to/2VFaYy7

Once done, let’s ensure that the Boot settings and SATA operations are correctly configured for this process.

Eventually I reinstalled my laptop with the media creation tool.
