XPS 15 9550 SSD Problem

Hi,

My XPS currently has an NVMe SSD drive.

I bought a second 2.5" SSD - Samsung 860 EVO drive and added It to expand my storage.

The issue is the drive is running only on sata 1.5Gb/sec Interface!

Performance is horrible with read/write speeds of about 130 MB/sec.

I've removed the drive and connected It to my desktop system and It's working just fine (> 500MB/sec sata6)

Any suggestion on what could be happening?

Thanks for your help.

Solved. It was a bad sata cable. Ordered new one, and got sata 6gb operation functioning. Thanks.

Click on the following forum post and pay special attention to the part for the cable on the last post.

Thank you. I've read the thread and it's the same issue. But I have an XDYGX cable, does It mean it's faulty ou it's a different model? If it's a different model I can't find variations of It (for high speed sata). This is what I have: AAM00_HDD_CABLE DC02C00BL00 CN-0XDYGX-DATI2
