XPS 15-9570, No audio or video

  I just purchased  this laptop  and there is no sound or video. When I try to listen to a radio station online, there is no sound. When I try to watch a video, a message says this video cannot be played.

   I called Dell and they said this is a software issue and not covered under warranty.  Any ideas on how to fix these issues? My  Windows updates, Dell Support Assist and GEForce Experience are all current and updated.

* From whom was this Laptop purchased? If NOT directly from Dell, you have to register it into your name
