XPS 15 9570 does not connect to wifi after waking up

I've started having this problem 2 months after getting XPS15. Upon waking up from sleep, my laptop shows no internet connectivity. It shows and connects to wifi only after I restart it. Can someone help regarding this?

khanmoin19,

  1. Open Settings from the Start Menu and select Network & Internet.
  2. Click Wi-Fi on the left pane and select Change adapter options.
  3. Right-click on your Wireless Network Adapter and select Properties.
  4. Under Networking tab, select Configure.
  5. Click on Power Management tab and check the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box, then click OK.

For my notes, click my username and send me the pc service tag number via private message.

In my case, same issues with adapter "Killer AX 1650";

The fix is going to Power options > Advanced settings > Networking connectivity in standby: Choose "Enable", instead of " Managed by Windows", for both "On battery" and "Plugged in". This would probably drain the your device's battery during sleep, however, it would fix the issue.

In case, "Networking connectivity in standby" is not showing up in Power Options. Follow below steps:

  1. Go to Registry Editor "Regedit"
  2. Follow this path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\F15576E8-98B7-4186-B944-EAFA664402D9
  3. Set Attributes DWORD = 2
  4. Restart the device
