XPS 15 9570, support for DDR4-3000 RAM

Hello, 

Is there  a technical reason why the dell XPS 9570 i7-8750H  can't support DDR-3000Mhz ram? If its just cause the bios is locked any chance we could get it unlocked?

Dell designed and sold the XPS 15 9570 to only use 2666 MHz ram. They are not going to change the BIOS to allow non-validated 3000 MHz ram.
