XPS 15-9575, USB Type-C ports, only seeing HDD's on left side

I have a new XPS 15-9575. 

I had to reinstall Windows to get USB audio drivers sorted out.  Now I can only attach USB HDD's and SSD's to the left side ports. 

USB 3.0 flash drive works on left and right side.

USB Type-C adapter to HDMI to TV. Only works from USB ports on the left side of the computer.

USB Type-C adapter > USB 3.0 to SATA III 6Gbps storage adapter > 6TB WD NASware: Not seen on the right side, only left side.

SATA to USB 3.0 adapter to SATA II SSD: Only shows up on the left side ports. Not seen on the right side ports.

SATA to USB 3.0 adapter to SATA III SSD: Only show up on the left side ports. Not seen on the right side ports.
